Class plans party



The Boonsboro High School class of 1977 is planning a holiday party Sunday, Dec. 28, starting at 5 p.m. at Next Dimensions Restaurant, 132 Old National Pike near Funkstown.

Each family will order from the menu. Please bring a $10 gift for the gift exchange (optional). The members will be discussing a cruise in 2009 in celebration of the class members' 50th birthday.

Holiday party planned



Leadership Washington County will host its annual holiday party Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Maryland Theatre.

Washington County Technical High School students will provide the catering.

In addition, the Potomac Classical Youth Ballet will perform a piece from "The Nutcracker Suite."

The cost of admission is a toiletry item to be donated to the clients of the Arc.

Driver safety course<.h3>

The AARP Driver Safety Program has a special 50 percent discount for its January classes.

Class is scheduled to be held Tuesday, Jan. 13, and Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Washington County Commission on Aging, 140 W. Franklin St., fourth floor.

AARP requires 12 classroom participants to receive the special offer of $6 per person for AARP members and $7 per person for nonmembers.
