Glen Albert Webb, 84, of 1707 Mount Aetna Road, Hagerstown, Md., passed on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Friday, July 4, 1924, in Hedgesville, W.Va., he was the son of the late Rev. Nile Webb and the late Anna Sanford Webb.
He was employed with the Western Maryland/CSX Railroad, retiring in 1986 after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Jane D. Webb; one daughter, Michele D. Lang of Hagerstown; one son, Mark A. Webb of Martinsburg, W.Va.; five sisters, Faith Swarner of Baltimore, Md., Edith Cook of Springfield, Ohio, Phyllis Harriss of St. Augustine, Fla., Betty Jones of Hagerstown and Edna Miller of DeLand, Fla.; four brothers, Nile Webb of Rockville, Md., Lyell Webb of Grove City, Ohio, Paul Webb of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Wilbert Webb of North Carolina; one grandchild, Peter Ashlin Lang of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
