The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight:
On Sunday:
- At 4:43 a.m., theft was reported in the 13700 block of Jack Street. Change machines at a laundromat had been broken into.
- At 7:44 a.m., damage to a vehicle was reported in the 18000 block of Oak Ridge Drive. A vehicle was spray painted and windows were broken out.
- At 9:31 a.m., theft was reported in the 16900 block of Cavalry Drive. A bike was stolen from a porch overnight.
- At 12:12 p.m., theft from a vehicle was reported in the 10700 block of Brookmeade Circle. A wallet was stolen.
- At 8:56 p.m., theft was reported in the 200 block of Chestnut Street in Funkstown. A phone was stolen from a vehicle.
On Saturday:
- At 12:49 a.m., attempted breaking and entering was reported at a residence in the 13700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Nothing was taken.
- At 3:45 a.m., damage to a vehicle was reported in the 10800 block of Downsville Pike. The back window and a side window were broken.
- At 7:11 a.m., theft was reported in the 14000 block of Marsh Pike. A wallet and cash were stolen.
- At 9:49 a.m., damage to a vehicle was reported in the 10800 block of Downsville Pike. Two tires were damaged.
- At 10:54 a.m., breaking and entering was reported at a residence in the 13500 block of Dry Run Road. A computer was stolen.
- At 10:57 a.m., theft was reported in the 7200 block of Dustin Drive. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
- At 4:09 p.m., theft was reported in the 15300 block of Clearspring Road. Suspects posing as Verizon workers talked their way into a house, and when they left, cash and several necklaces were discovered to be missing.
- At 6:30 p.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 13500 block of Paradise Church Road. The back window of a residence was broken and change was missing.
