BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Firefighters on Friday responded to a fire in the 10900 block of Furnace Road, according to Franklin County Emergency Services dispatcher.
The fire was reported at 4:33 p.m., the dispatcher said.
Firefighters were on scene for about 2 1/2 hours, Blue Ridge Summit Fire Chief Jim Meek said.
No one was injured, Meek said.
The fire caused significant damage to the home, which Meek described as a single-family home, possibly a hunting cabin. It was uninhabitable after the fire, he said.
No one was at the home at the time of the fire.
