RANSON, W.Va. - Mark K. Bennett, 48, of Ranson, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at the home of Lynn Hypes in Ranson.
Born Oct. 17, 1960, in Winchester, Va., he was the son of Calvin M. Bennett of Aiken, S.C., and the late Betty Boyd Bennett.
He was a 1978 graduate of Jefferson High School.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
He was an Episcopalian.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Jane Bennett of Aiken; one daughter, Candace Howell of Inwood, W.Va.; his special friend, Lynn Hypes of Ranson; two sisters, Cindy Balshaw of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Lisa Fath of Ranson; two brothers, Christopher Bennett of Harpers Ferry, W.Va. and Matthew Bennett of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and one grandchild.
