MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Carl F. "Skippy" Cook III, 54, of Stonebrook Inc., died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.

Born Aug. 10, 1954, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Joan Haas Cook of Martinsburg and the late Carl F. Cook Jr.

He worked at the Eastern Panhandle Training Center in Hedgesville, W.Va.

He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood, W.Va.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts and the Saturday church school group.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Carol Ann Cook of Falling Waters, W.Va., Barbara Bartley of Martinsburg and Wendy Headley of Winchester, Va.; nieces; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood. The Rev. Brian Shoda will be celebrant. Burial prayers will be said at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg.
