FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Community College Chapter of the American Association for Women in Community College has provided scholarships for two students for this semester.
Sara Hall, a social work student from Union Bridge, Md., and Lisa Romano, a Frederick resident working on a human services degree, have been awarded $255.50 each.
Eligible applicants may be full- or part-time students at FCC who are residents of Frederick County, Md. Preference is given to nontraditional-age female students who have completed at least 30 credits and who have demonstrated leadership or participated in volunteer activities.
