A Hagerstown man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Nov. 21 robbery at the PNC Bank on West Washington Street, according to a press release from the Hagerstown Police Department.
Brian Lee Beemer Sr., 26, of 145 E. Franklin St., Apt. 1, was charged with the PNC Bank robbery and with an attempted robbery Sunday at Byers Stop and Go store at 152 N. Burhans Blvd., the release said.Â
The robber at the Byers Stop and Go displayed a knife.
Police Chief Arthur Smith said last week that no weapon was used in the PNC Bank robbery.
Beemer was being held at the Washington County Detention Center.
