Ann Hoffman Bagley, 50

MESA, Ariz. - Ann Hoffman Bagley, 50, of Mesa, Ariz., died Nov. 18, 2008. Born Feb. 3, 1958, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Mary V. Hoffman and the late R. Paul Hoffman, who died Aug. 13, 2008.

Ann survived her husband, Lee Bagley, who died in April 2006. She is survived by her mother, who resides at the Village of Robinwood in Hagerstown; a sister, Susan H. Snyder of Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Dr. J. Michael Hoffman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and two great-nieces.

Ann was a 1976 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., and participated in the Semester at Sea college program, enabling her to travel around the world. Ann graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and remained in Phoenix, where she worked as a neo-natal intensive care nurse at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Banner Desert Health for the last 28 years.

She was a dedicated nurse and an avid animal lover. Ann and her husband rescued many dogs and cats over the years. They also enjoyed motorcycle riding in Arizona.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
