CASCADE -- A woman was critically injured early Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Cascade, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Department press release.
The crash happened about 12:55 a.m. in the 14000 block of Macfee Hill Road, deputies said.
Shelby Alana Wolfe, who was driving one of the vehicles, was taken to Washington County Hospital and later flown by helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, deputies said. She was listed in critical condition there Thursday morning, deputies said.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured, deputies said.
