Long live the King

Lucille - no, not Kenny Rogers' "Lucille," but B.B. King and his guitar, Lucille - will play at The Maryland Theatre on Monday.

Artistic strokes

Looking for good deals on handmade items? The Maryland Christmas Show will hold its second weekend with 500 artists' and craftsmen's work for sale at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Friday through Sunday.

Nothin' but net

Catch some high school hoop action at the Mid-Atlantic Invitational Boys Basketball Tournament at St. Maria Goretti High School on Friday and Saturday. Games are at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Friday with Goretti playing the late game. On Saturday, the consolation game starts at 6:30 p.m.; the championship game is at 8. He's coming to town

The man in red always arrives in style. Santa will drop in Friday at Long Meadow Shopping Center in Hagerstown's North End on the same float he rode in the Mummers' Parade. He will be joined by Frosty, Rudolph and Mrs. Claus.
