HALLTOWN, W.Va. - John Manns Wines, 68, of Rion Hall, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at his home.
Born July 10, 1940, in Braxton County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Mr. Wines and Lilly Jane Conard.
He was a dairy farmer at the Driswood Farm.
He was a Methodist.
He is survived by two daughters, Sue Wines of Harpers Ferry, W.Va. and Patricia A. Wines of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.; one son, John L. Wines of Bailey Island, Maine; one brother, Eakel Wine of Napier, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel, Ina and Marie; and three brothers, Buster, Jim and Cecil.
A memorial service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the home of Reba and Randy Wine at Rion Hall in Halltown. Chaplain Doug Knupp will officiate.
