WILLIAMSPORT - Barbara Ann Grebenstein, 76, of 10535 Peachtree Lane, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at her home.

Born June 14, 1932, in Beckley, W.Va., to Edith R. Holiday Stover of Williamsport, Md., and the late Lester Daniel Stover.

She was a 1950 graduate of Ronceverte High School, Ronceverte, W.Va., and a 1954 graduate of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, W.Va., where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education.

She was a Homemaker.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include, besides her mother: husband, Edward B. Grebenstein Sr., married Oct. 9, 1953, of Williamsport, Md.; daughter, Anne L. Haas of Williamsport, Md.; sons, Edward B. Grebenstein Jr. and his wife, Lee, of Silver Spring, Md., and Robert A. Grebenstein and his wife, Sherree, of Williamsport, Md.; and grandchildren, Leia and her husband, Tyson, David, Molly and Elizabeth.


She was predeceased by one sister, Sheila M. Gibbin.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Williamsport, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. James E. Swecker officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family requests the omission of flowers.
