November 23, 2008

WILKESBORO, N.C. -- Hagerstown Community College suffered its second loss in as many days on Sunday with an 82-47 thumping from Wilkes (N.C.) Community College.

Cara Thompson was the lone player in double figures with 11 points for the Hawks (3-6), who are idle until Dec. 3.

"We played pretty well with them for the first 15 minutes but (Wilkes) had too much height, quickness and were a better shooting team," said coach Marlys Palmer.
