"I'd like to comment on looking for good tenants to rent. When my husband and I went to look for a house to rent, our credit was terrible. We told the landlord that and asked him to give us a chance. When we moved into the house, we paid our rent on time for the entire two years that we were there. When we moved out, we left the house immaculate. So don't always go by a credit report. Check references. However, in two years, we did get our credit together and we were able to buy a home."

"I see in the paper where they're talking about increases for the sheriff and the Board of County Commissioners, etc., etc. It is a very bad idea to give anyone a raise at this time. Anybody with common sense knows that. There's more people getting laid off now than ever. Economy is at a real, real snail's pace. People are worried about putting food on the table and heating their homes, buying medication, and yet they want to give them more money. Why should a few survive and really do well when the money comes from the taxpayers? It is not right, and I certainly hope they don't approve it."

"This is to the guy from Sharpsburg. Maybe if he pampered his wife a little more and the animals a little less, maybe so many of them wouldn't leave him."

"I don't think we should bail out these car companies. For years, they have built cars that no one really wants, not realizing people did want fuel-efficient cars. These executives flew here in private jets to ask the taxpayers to bail them out. Why didn't they at least all three fly together on one jet? No, the waste will continue, and I don't think it's right."

"This has to do with all of us JLG employees that are losing our jobs, and they're blaming it on the economy. When Bill Clinton signed the NAFTA law, he's the one that's put all these people out of work, and it's not only JLG. It's the tannery, it's Rayloc, it's everywhere you turn. So you call a peach a peach. So don't try to sugarcoat it for the man, when he's the one that's responsible for all this."

"This is the fellow that bought his wife the '09 broom. I want to tell all you people, before you go out and start buying those brooms, my wife was riding hers near Fort Detrick and she got into restricted air space, and four fighter jets accompanied her out. They threatened to shoot her down. I'd hate to lose her. She was just out joyriding, and she loved it. There will soon be a dealership opening for them in Hagerstown because the demand is so great for them. Many, many women need them."

"Great article on JLG in this morning's paper. It's amazing that the executives will all be paid big bonuses and that they have two corporate jets, and they even blew up the sign of the big check and put it in one of their offices, and the state of Pennsylvania is left holding the bag, and all those poor workers are out of jobs. So, great job on the article. We need more of those like that, and especially hearing about the Chinese factories, the same time all these guys are getting laid off."

"I would just like to give a reminder to the patients who visit Robinwood Medical Center. The yellow-striped parking spaces are for employees only, and this is also a nonsmoking campus, which means you cannot smoke anywhere on the ground. It does not mean you can stand by the front doors and smoke. We have patients that come in and out of here who have asthma and breathing problems, and they have to walk through your smoke because you're too lazy to get in your car and leave."
"I'm calling in response to the people who accuse Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly of basically talking nonsense and saying nothing on their shows. That's a misstatement. Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh always back up their points with factual evidence, and that's what angers the left so much."
"Where's Obama's promise of change? He's bringing all the old Democrats for the positions. I don't see any change coming about. He got us again."
