Anna Nisewarner and Vincent Ciampa announce their engagement.

Miss Nisewarner is the daughter of Donald Nisewarner of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Maria Weaver of Hagerstown. She is a 2004 graduate of Washington County Technical High School, and plans to graduate from Frostburg State University in December with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She is employed with the United States Census Bureau in Hagerstown.

Mr. Ciampa is the son of Angelo and Anna Ciampa of Falling Waters, W.Va. He is a 2001 graduate of Hedgesville High School. He attended Hagerstown Community College. He is employed at DALB Graphics in Kearnysville, W.Va.

A May 24, 2009, wedding is planned.


Melissa A. Meyers and John D. Mumma of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Miss Meyers is the daughter of Margaret and James Meyers of Hagerstown.

Mr. Mumma is the son of Emma Bowman and Daniel Mumma of Hagerstown.

An Oct. 31, 2009, wedding is planned.



Max and Dena Bowers of Martinsburg, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Bowers, to Craig E. Arch, of Falling Waters, W.Va. He is the son of Duane Arch and wife Darese Arch, of Maugansville, Md., and Marsha Taylor and Lou Taylor of Falling Waters.

Miss Bowers is a 2004 graduate of Hedgesville High School and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science at Mountain State University. She is employed as a staff accountant with Allegany Business Consulting in Hagerstown.

Mr. Arch is a 2004 graduate of Hedgesville High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration. He is employed at Arndt-McBee Insurance.

An Oct. 10, 2009, wedding is planned.


Ronald and Deborah Laughman of Hagerstown, and Gary and Brenda Trovinger of Clear Spring, announce the engagement of their children, Crystal Lynn Laughman to Chad Michael Trovinger, both of Chambersburg, Pa.

Miss Laughman is a 1998 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She is employed as a tattoo artist with Eric Von Dar's Elite Tattoo.

Mr. Trovinger is a 1992 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 1994 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an associate degree in graphic design. He is employed as a graphic artist with The Herald-Mail Co.

A spring 2009 wedding is planned.
