Hagerstown police continue to seek two men in armed robbery at McDonald's

November 20, 2008

Following up on nearly a week-old armed robbery at the McDonald's on Massey Boulevard, Washington County Sheriff's deputies said they are looking for information on a distinctive coat worn by one of the robbers.

The robbery was Friday, Nov. 14, at about 11:45 p.m. The men had guns, and were wearing masks and blue gloves, Sgt. Roy Harsh said.

The robbers fled on foot toward the railroad tracks behind the McDonald's, Harsh said.

"The surveillance photos show one robber was wearing a three-quarter-length white coat with black dots on it," Harsh said.

Anyone with information can call police at 240-313-2183.
