Woman missing from home detention sought

November 19, 2008

BOONSBORO -- Deputies are searching for a Boonsboro woman who escaped from home detention Wednesday, Washington County Sheriff's Department Detective Greg Alton said.

Destiny Richele Danner, 19, was sentenced in September to six months of home detention in connection with a first-degree burglary on Sharpsburg Pike in April, Alton said. She was serving her home detention at 20037 Mill Point Road in Boonsboro, he said.

The county's home detention program was notified by text message about 3:15 p.m. that Danner's ankle bracelet had gone out of range, Alton said.

Danner is white with brown hair and brown eyes, Alton said. She is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Investigators did not have any information about what she was wearing or where she might be headed, Alton said.

Anyone with information on Danner's whereabouts may contact the Washington County Sheriff's Department at 301-791-3020.
