MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A man wanted on a murder charge in New York was arrested Monday in Martinsburg after he was featured on "America's Most Wanted" television show, according to a release from the Martinsburg Police Department.
Fugitive Geovanny Colon was arrested Monday after Martinsburg Police and the department's Special Response Team searched 400 Bertelli Court, the release said.
Two New York City men were taken into custody, according to the release.
Colon, 27, of 614 W. 152nd St., New York City, was charged in a warrant with being a fugitive from justice on a murder charge. Colon was wanted in the April 2007 death of a man who was run over by a car as he stood in a Manhattan street, according to news accounts.
A second New York man, Jonathan Kenneth Keeys, 26, of 644 Riverside Drive, Apt. 3G1, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (crack cocaine).
