St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will speak Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. Children, youth and parish choirs will provide music at the later service. Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and includes an adult forum on the Gospel of John.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will speak Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. communion service on "Hide It Under a Bushel?" Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, a cross-cultural event for the whole community Sunday at 10 a.m. will feature Crossfire, a relational music ministry team sponsored by Youth Encounter, ministers in communities throughout the U.S. and other countries. They will present a service of worship and personal sharing in the sanctuary.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will speak Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on "Risky Business." Mooney and his puppet friends also will highlight the morning service. Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m. Following Sunday's service, Mooney will lead an adult study on John Wesley's Three Simple Rules.

First Christian Church, Matthew Albright will lead a hymn festival of praise Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Julie McGee, Greg Martin and the chancel choir will provide music. Sunday school is at 11:15 a.m.

First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak Sunday at the 11 a.m. on "Whose Crying?" Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. The Monday luncheon is from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, Pastor Carol Hallman will speak Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on "Extravagant Opportunity." Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, the Rev. Robert Jones will speak Sunday at 10 a.m. on "Preparing for a Miracle." Bible study is at 9 a.m. Evening worship is at 6 p.m. with Royal Rangers and Girl's Ministries, and the topic "The Woman Who Ran Away With A Well." Wednesday Oasis services, Bible study and NuVision Youth are at 7 p.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., Jeff Hollis will give an illustrated talk Sunday at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. titled" Wally's Christmas." Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., the Rev. Larry Weber will speak Sunday at 10:40 a.m. on "Hearts Moved by God." Christian education is at 9:30 a.m. Grace Teens meet at 7 p.m. A Thanksgiving meal will be Wednesday at 6 p.m.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries will hold services Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Steve's Studio, 13194 Monterrey Lane, Rouzerville, Pa. The Rev. Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will speak Sunday at 10:45 a.m. on "Left Behind?" Fellowship and refreshments follow the service. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Tri-State Fellowship, Pastor Randy Buchman will speak Sunday at 9:15 and 11 a.m. on "The Beliefs Maze: A Study of Christ's Return." Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions. Youth groups for middle and high school students meet from 6 to 8 p.m.

New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Highway and Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, Pastor Mark Snyder will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. on "The Tragedy of Neglect." Bob Painter will provide music. A series on the Book of Romans is Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Shiloh United Methodist Church, Pastor Wayne Frum will speak Sunday at 9:15 a.m. on "Are You in the Darkness?" Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, the Rev. David Baker will speak Sunday at 9:15 a.m. on "Treasured Relics."

Great Commission Ministries, meeting at Salem Avenue School, Pastor Mitch Robinson will speak Sunday at 10 a.m. on "Armed For Victory." Sunday school is at 9 a.m.
