"Hollywood and History" at Allison-Antrim Museum holiday banquet

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Allison-Antrim Museum will hold its holiday banquet meeting Monday, Nov. 24, at Mrs. Gibble's Restaurant, 7325 Molly Pitcher Highway in Greencastle. Orders for dinner will be placed at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7:15 p.m.

The speakers will be Juanita Leisch Jensen and her husband, Les Jensen, Civil War historians and authorities on the fashion for women and men during the mid-19th century. Their presentation is, "Hollywood and History: Gone With the Wind - A Case Study."

Guests may choose either pork tenderloin or broiled chicken for $11.75; or pork and sauerkraut or ham loaf for $10.25. All entres included a tossed salad, corn fritters, mashed potatoes, gravy, suger-snap peas, and water. Drinks and dessert are extra. Tax and gratuity will be added to the bill.
