AC&T store in Williamsport robbed at gunpoint

Washington County Sheriff's deputies on Tuesday were looking for a man who robbed an AC&T store at 16504 Virginia Ave. in Williamsport on Monday night.

The robber displayed a handgun to a woman working in the store and took an undisclosed amount of cash, Sgt. Roy Harsh said in a news release.

He then left the store and fled, Harsh said.

The robber was described as white, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a green jump suit, gloves and a black ski mask. Harsh said.

Deputies and the Hagerstown Police Department K9 unit searched for the robber but could not find him, Harsh said.
