Hagerstown police report

November 12, 2008

Hagerstown police responded recently to the following incidents:

Thursday, Nov. 6:

o At 11 a.m., theft was reported at South Hagerstown High School, 1101 S. Potomac St. A cell phone was taken.

Saturday, Nov. 8:

o At 5 p.m., drug violations were reported in the first block of Potomac Street.

Monday, Nov. 10:

o At 4:43 p.m., theft was reported at Cancun Cantina, 901 Dual Highway. A cell phone and Maryland driver's license was taken.

o At 6:04 p.m., damage to a motor vehicle was reported in the 600 block of West Franklin Street. Tires were damaged.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

o At 8:23 a.m., theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Oak Hill Avenue. Sunglasses and vehicle manuals were taken.

o At 9:37 a.m., theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Oak Hill Avenue. Cash was taken.

o At 11:42 a.m.,, property was found in the 100 block of Hamilton Boulevard. A gray, 26-inch, 10-speed Murray Sebring bicycle was taken.

o At 12:27 p.m., theft and fraud were reported at Byers Stop-n-Go, 152 N. Burhans Boulevard.

o At 4:58 p.m., damage to a motor vehicle was reported in the first block of Belview Avenue. A window was damaged.

o At 7:28 p.m., theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 17850 Garland Groh Boulevard. Groceries were taken.

o At 10:10 p.m., damage to property was reported in the 400 block of George Street. Windows were damaged.

o At 10:50 p.m., damage to a motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of North Burhans Boulevard. Someone dented a vehicle.
