Isaiah Hill led all scorers with 26 points to go with his seven rebounds and six blocks as Hagerstown Community College opened its season with a win over Potomac State in the Region XX Hall of Fame tournament.

Raason Young scored 22 points, including five 3-pointers, for the Hawks (1-0) while Amaurys Fermin had 17 points, seven boards and six assists and Brandon Rascoe added 11 points.

HCC will play Westmoreland in the championship game today at 3 p.m.

W.Va. Wesleyan 3, Shepherd 0

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Amanda Hall had six kills, six digs and three blocks for Shepherd in the Rams' 25-22, 25-15, 25-9 WVIAC loss to West Virginia Wesleyan (12-14, 11-4).

Lauren Jeschelnik had five kills for Shepherd (11-21, 7-8), while Julie Robertson added eight digs and Jane Thompson tallied 14 assists.
