Four in Hancock face drug distribution charges

Four people were charged with drug crimes Wednesday after the Washington County Narcotics Task Force executed three search warrants in Hancock, Sgt. Todd Kerns said.

Hancock Police and the Washington County Special Response Team assisted in the search, Kerns said in a news release.

Authorities got the warrants after investigators discovered that drugs were being distributed out of several homes, he said.

Destinee Nichole Anderson, 23, of 103 W. Main St. Apt. 4, was charged with distribution of heroin, conspiracy to distribute heroin, two counts of possession to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled paraphernalia.

Roger Lloyd Ellis, 45, of 119 W. Main St. Apt. 3, was charged with the distribution of Oxycodone, distribution of Oxycontin, possession of Oxycodone, possession of Oxycontin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roger Lloyd Ellis Jr., 24, of 119 W. Main St., Apt. 3, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandy Lynn Shives, 30, of 11 N. Pennsylvania Ave., was charged with the distribution of heroin, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
