"I think with all my hard work I can get to my dreams and it helps that my friends stand by me," she said.
Her friends also encourage her to do well and constantly tell her to go far. She said she often wonders, "Why wait?"
Aubre has been to two conventions in the past three years, which for an aspiring model is pretty good. An event at the Plaza Hotel in Hagers-town was her first experience with of modeling. She admitted she was a bit nervous and little anxious to see what was actually going to happen.
She has also attended a convention in Philadelphia in mid-February. "This convention was a bit bigger than the last one, so I was more nervous" she said. "But when I jumped on the runway, I instantly gained confidence because I feel that's where I belong."
Aubre said that her modeling doesn't interfere with her school work. She said her mother and her friends help keep her on track. And on the days she feels like giving up, she said wanting to achieve her goal of being a working model keeps her going. She said she has a good balance between school work and modeling and believes she can be successful in both areas of her life.
In the future, Aubre wants to attend a nearby fashion school and still work on her modeling. She said she wants to make it big, but more importantly, she wants to make something of herself. There are many different looks she can go for as an aspiring model, but she said she has a look all her own. She wants to go for a classier look, such as the couture models, something, she said, most young models haven't done yet.
Aubre says she dreams of becoming a Victoria's Secret model or a swimsuit model. She feels that by going for it now, she can become a household name by the age of 20.
Aubre is very confident in her look and doesn't want to change it for any designer.
"I have a unique look that the representatives at the conventions will see," she said.
