Fundraisers



Bake sale

The Chewsville Lions Club is selling fruitcakes, peanut brittle and peanut butter fudge. The items can be picked up at any of the following locations: Rosemary Florists in Williamsport, Corderman's Hardware in Hagerstown, Mrs. Sanders at Cascade Beauty Shop and the Dixie Eatery in Smithsburg. All proceeds benefit the community.

Raffle

Waynesboro Hospital's gift shop is selling raffle tickets for Willow Tree's "The Christmas Story," which consists of a large sanctuary, the holy family and gentle animals of the stable. It is a limited edition piece that retails for more than $250. Tickets can be purchased at $1 each or $5 for six. The drawing occurs on Monday, Dec. 1. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.

World food sampler
