Minority Outreach

The Minority Outreach & Multicultural Center will begin working on a project that will offer an opportunity to centralize minority outreach and increase minority contributions in the Hagerstown-Washington County area.

The center will help revitalize the historical Jonathan Street neighborhood with a multicultural component and build a contact point for minority outreach to blacks, Latinos, Asians and Native Americans with minority outreach services that will include a museum/exhibit area and gift shop, community conference and banquet room, access to a public television studio, a multicultural library, a health and fitness area, and a multicultural food court with an indoor/outdoor caf.
