October 30, 2008

Smell my feet

Trick or treat! Depending on where you live, the kids might be in your neighborhood asking for treats on Friday, Oct. 31, or they might be out tonight.

Costumes on parade

If you're not paraded out, the Mercersburg (Pa.) Halloween Parade down Main Street begins at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3.

Banjos: From the beginning

There's more to banjo music than that catchy tune from "Deliverance." "The Birth of the Banjo" at Weinberg Center for the Arts on Saturday blends history, banjo-pickin' and humor.

Ready to rumble?

Two of the three regional NFL teams will battle it out on Monday Night Football. The AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) visit the Washington Redskins (6-2), who are second in the NFC East. Watch the game at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN or MyTV (Antietam Cable's channel 10) or on ESPN or Antietam Cable's high-def channels.
