Chambersburg man charged after 19-month-old boy's arm broken

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man has been charged with aggravated and simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child whose arm was broken last week, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The 19-month-old boy was brought to the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital on Thursday, Oct. 23, police said. Police said the child had a fractured right arm.

Christopher Stephen Washabaugh, 22, address unavailable, was charged with injuring the child, police said. He is not related to the child, but lives with the baby's mother, police said.
