Hagerstown police report

October 22, 2008

Hagerstown police responded recently to the following incidents:

Thursday, Oct. 16:

o At 10:30 a.m., theft was reported at North Hagerstown High School, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue. A cell phone was taken.

Sunday, Oct. 19:

o At 12:04 a.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 200 block of South Potomac Street.

o At 4:51 p.m., theft was reported at Park Place. A diamond ring was taken.

o At 4:55 p.m., theft was reported in the 1000 block of Noland Drive. A chrome-and-gray, 20-inch bicycle was taken.

o At 9:01 p.m., drug violations were reported in the 800 block of Concord Street.

o At 9:26 p.m., theft was reported in the 800 block of Oak Hill Avenue. A backpack and clothing were taken.

Monday, Oct. 20:

o At 12:03 p.m., theft was reported in the 12000 block of Nittany Lion Circle. Propane tanks were taken.

o At 4:24 p.m., theft was reported in the first block of East North Avenue. A porch swing was taken. 

Tuesday, Oct. 21:

o At 1:58 a.m., second-degree assault was reported in the 500 block of Salem Avenue.

o At 4:07 p.m., theft was reported at North Hagerstown High School, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue. A blue Diamondback bicycle was taken.

o At 4:14 p.m., theft was reported. Maryland registration sticker number 6062720 was taken.

o At 6:17 p.m., a second-degree assault was reported at North Hagerstown High School, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue.

o At 6:30 p.m., theft scheme was reported at Wal-Mart, 17850 Garland Groh Blvd.

o At 10:30 p.m., damage to a motor vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of Kensington Drive. Tires were damaged.
