Cocaine dealer gets two to seven years in prison

October 18, 2008

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Greencastle, Pa., woman convicted of delivery of cocaine was sentenced Wednesday in Franklin County Court to two to seven years in state prison.

Kristen Thompson, 35, of 710 Franklin Court, also was fined $500, ordered to pay $390 in restitution and forfeit property seized when she was charged. Judge John R. Walker made the sentence to begin Wednesday, although Thompson is still serving a sentence in Maryland on another conviction.

Thompson told Walker she had been in jail for 16 months.

Thompson pleaded guilty earlier this year to the one count of delivery, although the Washington Township Police Department originally charged her and Terrance Faison with selling cocaine to police informants on several occasions between Oct. 26, 2006, and Jan. 25, 2007.

Faison, who lived with Thompson but was from East Stroudsburg, Pa., was convicted on federal drug charges, Assistant District Attorney Tim Wilmot said.
