Pa. woman hurt in motorcycle crash



FANNETTSBURG, Pa. -- An East Berlin, Pa., woman was flown to Hershey Medical Center with a possible head injury Sunday after her motorcycle struck a guide rail on Timmons Road in Fannett Township, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Dellia Jaonn Vanscyoc, 67, crashed into the guardrail at about 5:09 p.m. at 14200 Timmons Road, police said.

She was in fair condition Tuesday night, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Driver charged with DUI after Pa. crash



MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- A driver who had consumed alcohol and marijuana crashed into a concrete pillar Sept. 20, throwing it into a yard where it struck two vehicles and a boat, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

The crash happened at about 11:40 p.m. on Bino Road in Montgomery Township, police said.

The driver, whose name was not released, was charged with DUI, police said.

Cash, cards taken from car in Pa.



SCOTLAND, Pa. -- Someone stole $30 and assorted cards Sunday or Monday from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Sterling Bridge Road in Greene Township, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Car struck at Pa. store



SCOTLAND, Pa. -- Police are seeking information about a vehicle that struck a 1998 Mercury Tracer in the parking lot of a J.C. Penney Saturday evening, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Halloween items stolen from Pa. homes



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- A homemade Halloween coffin and other items were stolen over the weekend from two homes on Liverpool Court in Letterkenny Township, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

The items were taken between 7 a.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, police said. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg at 717-264-5161.

Leather coats stolen from FSK mall



FREDERICK, Md. -- Six leather coats valued at $1,800 were stolen Oct. 7 from Sears at Francis Scott Key Mall, Maryland State Police said in a news release.

A man took the coats from a rack at about 12:46 p.m. and left the store through the men's section entrance, police said. He was described as a black man in his mid 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a navy blue sweatshirt and a baseball cap, police said. Tires slashed in Frederick County



FREDERICK, Md. -- Tires on four vehicles were slashed last week in the Spring Ridge Senior Apartments parking lot, the Frederick County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.

The damage probably happened overnight Oct. 8 or early Oct. 9, deputies said. The total damage is estimated at $500, deputies said. Anyone with information may contact Deputy Amanda Veith at 301-600-7115.
