Investigators are seeking the owners of several antique coins and jewelry items recovered Friday during a burglary investigation, Washington County Sheriff's Department investigator Greg Alton said.
Investigators executed a search warrant Friday night at 229 East Ave. and recovered several items stolen in burglaries throughout the county in May and June, including a shotgun, jewelry and a PlayStation system, Alton said.
Daniel Rufus Nipper, 34, and Tonia Christine Wagner, 29, both of 229 East Ave., each were charged with theft of more than $500 in value, as well as possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, Alton said.
Also recovered from the home were:
o A wedding band inscribed "Grandma to E.D."
o Old money, including a $2 bill with many signatures on it and words that appear to read: "To Clair from Sonia Gardner"
