The club is asking that anyone in the main part of town (within walking distance of Cumberland Street) who would be interested in hosting an open house during the event to call Linda McNamee at 301-842-3789 or Junedale Anderson at 717-328-5810. If you plan to do this, please call as soon as possible. More information will be coming in the future about Christmas in Clear Spring.

Did you know?

Did you know that people traveling the old National Pike would stay at numerous overnight stops along the road?

These stops held many different names, such as tavern, inn, hotel, hostelry and stage-stop. The overnight stops sold food and drinks and fed the horses. The travelers got "sleeping space" until all the beds were filled to capacity and then they got "floor space."
