The scariest scarecrow in Martinsburg

"The Bank Robber" by First United Bank & Trust along South Queen Street was named the winner of 2008 Scarecrow Fest sponsored by Main Street Martinsburg (W.Va.). The blue ribbon-winning creation is one of 78 scarecrows on display until Nov. 1 in downtown Martinsburg. The bank robber will ride in a convertible in the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival parade on Oct. 18.
