North Hagerstown's Michael Baer scored his school-record 42nd career goal in the first half, and the No. 7 Hubs went on to beat visiting Century 2-0 on Tuesday.

Matt Johnston also scored for the Hubs, while Charlie Brasher had two assists and Baer added one for the Hubs (6-4). Joel Henry had eight saves to record the shutout in goal.


No. 5 Smithsburg 2, Williamsport 1

SMITHSBURG -- Danielle Berk scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Ashley Ferguson in the second overtime period to lift Smithsburg to an MVAL Antietam win over Williamsport on Monday night.

The Leopards (6-3, 4-0) took a 1-0 lead in the first half as Ferguson scored on an assist from Marissa Luipersbeck.


The Wildcats (2-7, 1-3) tied the match in the second half on a goal by Amber Shoemaker.

Smithsburg's Bethany Garnand had eight saves, while Williamsport's Lexi Bryan had 12.

St. James 1, Washington 0

SAINT JAMES -- Caroline Salisbury scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute to lift St. James over Washington.

Rachel Herrera made nine saves for the shutout for the Saints (3-6-4).


No. 4 Greencastle 3, Trinity 0

GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Erin Garns had 27 assists and three digs as Greencastle swept Trinity 25-23, 25-22, 25-0.

Megan George had 10 kills, seven digs and two aces for the Blue Devils (14-1) while Kelsey Gearhart had eight kills and two blocks.

No. 6 McConnellsburg 3, Hyndman 1

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. -- A'Leese Dickerson had 17 kills, six aces and five blocks for McConnellsburg in the Spartans' 25-10, 25-21, 24-26, 25-22 win over Hyndman.

Megan Eichelberger had 15 digs and six aces for the Spartans (12-1), while Lisa DeShong had 16 digs and Brittany Ott had 33 assists.

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. -- Samantha Larcomb has 10 kills and five blocks for Washington in the 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-17 loss to Jefferson.

Rachel Rawn had 13 assists for the Patriots (0-13) while Kelsey Lineburg had eight aces and Stephanie Kerns had six digs.

Hannah Young had 19 kills, 20 digs and three blocks to pace Broadfording to a 25-14, 16-25, 26-24, 25-19 win in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Becca Adams had 29 assists and 10 digs and Danielle DuBois recorded 29 digs and three aces for the Lions (10-2).

IJAMSVILLE, Md. -- Akilah McCall had 11 kills and Megan Plume added 11 assists for North Hagerstown as the Hubs (5-4) were defeated 25-8, 27-25, 21-25, 25-21 by Linganore.

Heritage 3, Shalom 0

Morgan McIntire led Heritage Academy with 10 service points, seven kills, four digs and five blocks in the Eagles' 25-23, 25-12, 25-20 MDDC sweep of Shalom Christian.

Brianna Dorsey had six service points, including two aces, and 11 digs for Heritage, while Rebekah Clarke tallied eight service points and five digs. Kara Stamper also had nine kills and six digs for the Eagles (8-5).

Natasha Gibble had 15 assists and Rachel Lehman had 15 digs, seven kills and four service points for the Flames.

LOYSBURG, Pa. -- Alexis Knisley had 19 service points for Southern Fulton the 6-25, 25-9, 25-15, 27-25 loss to Northern Bedford.
