October 06, 2008

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- 23rd Judicial Circuit judges David H. Sanders, Gray Silver III and Christopher C. Wilkes do not have opponents in the general election.

The circuit includes Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties. Circuit judges, who preside in the state's trial court system, serve eight-year terms and are paid $116,000 per year.

Silver, of Martinsburg, is seeking a second term. He defeated David A. Camilletti in the 2000 election.

Both Sanders, of Summit Point, W.Va., and Wilkes of Gerrardstown, W.Va., are seeking their third terms.
