RE/MAX Achievers

Peachy O'Connor recently joined The O'Connor Team of the Hagerstown office of RE/MAX Achievers.

O'Connor is licensed in Maryland and is studying to become a senior real estate specialist.

O'Connor was a local bank manager for more than eight years.

O'Neill Physical Therapy Services

Brenda DeSutter-Gue, physical therapist, and Leigh Martin and Jenn Robertson, physical therapy assistants with O'Neill Physical Therapy Services, recently attended a course on the therapeutic treatments of the arthritic hip and knee.

Part of the course included a demonstration of total hip and knee replacements by Dr. Ralph Salvagno. The demonstration helped attendees appreciate what their patients have endured once they get to the physical therapy phase.


The Urological Center

Melodie L. Labanowski, a medical assistant at The Urological Center, recently passed the CMA certification examination offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants, earning the certified medical assistant credential.

Labanowski is a graduate of the medical assisting program at Kaplan College in Hagerstown.

AtHome America

Kelly Goetz of Hagerstown, an independent sales contractor for AtHome America, recently was honored at the company's annual sales convention.

Goetz was recognized for having high team sales; demonstrating success in leading, training and motivating new independent sales contractors; and being a top recruiter for the year.

Goetz has been with AtHome America since August 2001.

Gateway Gallery Auction

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Heather Fowler recently became an auctioneer at Gateway Gallery Auction.

Fowler has worked in her family's auction business since 1998, performing clerking, cashiering and marketing duties.

Fowler is a graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in High Point, N.C.
