Family yoga

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Family yoga is for children ages 3 and older who are accompanied by at least one adult. The classes are $5 for one parent and child, $1 for each additional child in the family for nonmembers, and free for members.

The next class will be from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Chambersburg Memorial YMCA.

Beginner yoga

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Beginner yoga and introduction to meditation meets from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesdays at Chambersburg Memorial YMCA. The class includes the basic elements of breath work and basic yoga postures. A meditation practice will conclude each class.

Gentle yoga

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Gentle yoga meets from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays at Chambersburg Memorial YMCA.

County college fair

The 2008 Washington County College Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Athletic Recreation and Community Center at Hagerstown Community College, Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown.

Representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities and technical schools in the Mid-Atlantic region will be on-hand to meet with prospective students.
