Angel Food, a low-cost food program, is taking orders for October. Customers may but either a standard unit or a senior box.

The standard unit, which can feed a family of four for a week, costs $30.

The senior box contains 10 individual meals and costs $28. The senior box includes barbecue chicken, meat patties with country style gravy and onions, thyme-baked chicken, and creole-style white fish.

Meals are fully cooked and labeled with heating instructions. Each meal has no added sodium, is low in fat, and is nutritionally balanced for seniors.
