Fire at Hagerstown mental health facility ruled arson

Investigators have ruled arson as the cause of a fire Tuesday morning at a mental health facility in Hagerstown, the Hagerstown Fire Department said in a news release.

The fire, reported at 1:24 a.m., caused extensive damage to the QCI Behavior Services facility at 265 Mill St., fire officials said. No injuries were reported.

The Hagerstown Fire Marshal's Office was investigating with help from the Hagerstown Police Department, the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office and a K-9 accelerant unit from Howard County, Md., fire officials said.
