Prekindergarten students do not attend.  High schools are open for a full day, with many students taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test that day.  FCPS provides the test free to all 10th-graders, and many juniors take it to qualify for college scholarship opportunities.

All students are dismissed 3 1/2  hours early to allow parents time to meet with teachers in the afternoon. Students eat lunch before dismissal.  Prekindergarten students do not attend.

High school students attend blocks one and two, and morning courses are open at the Career & Technology Center.

For more information about conferences and the attendance schedule, contact the child's school.
