MCTC inmate walkathon raises money for C-Safe

On Sept. 20, 325 inmates contributed to the sixth annual C-Safe walkathon held at the Maryland Correctional Training Center and the HED work release facility. Inmates contributed to C-Safe, a Washington County after-school program for at-risk youth. This year, Carolyn Brooks, C-Safe director, was presented with a total of $1,687 which will help provide activities for the kids. Shown in the photo are Capt. Steven Myers and Brooks.
