Practice grad exams offered at Wilson College

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Test preparation firm Kaplan will be at Wilson College on Saturday, Oct. 4, to administer several practice graduate school entrance exams.

Practice exams being given that day are: the GRE (Graduate Record Examination), GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) in the field of business, LSAT (Law School Admissions Test), MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) and DAT (Dental Aptitude Test).

Testing will begin at 9 a.m. in classrooms on the second floor of Warfield Hall.

The tests are free, but a $5 deposit is needed to hold a spot. The deposit will be returned the day of the test.

Online health class for seniors offered in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - "Searching for Health Information Online - An Internet Course for Older Adults" will be offered by Chambersburg Hospital on Friday, Oct. 31, in the hospital's computer training room, on the ground floor at 112 N. Seventh St., Chambersburg.

This class is designed to help older adults learn how to build their Internet skills, find reliable health and wellness information from Web sites at the National Institutes of Health, and evaluate the quality of online health information.

Classes will be 90 minutes in length, and will begin at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
