September 22, 2008

FREDERICK, Md. - Saint John's Catholic Prep in Frederick County, Md., announced it has received a $25,000 gift from PNC Bank to help build its new school in Buckeystown, Md.

The check was presented by Gordon M. Cooley, executive vice president, and James Talbott II, regional president of PNC Bank, to Robert A. Pastoor, president of Saint John's Catholic Prep.

The gift will be applied to The Legacy Campaign building fund. The gift entitles PNC Bank to a naming opportunity at the new school campus.

Saint John's Catholic Prep kicked off the Legacy Campaign in September 2007 and aims to raise a minimum of $7 million over the next two or three years to establish an endowment, build a new state-of-the-art academic campus and provide athletic facilities.
