She is survived by three nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lemen and Bessie Hendricks.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg. The Rev. G. Edward Grove will officiate.
It was her request that there be no viewing.

INWOOD, W.Va. - Gary Robert Bowers, 58, of Inwood, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at his home.
Born Aug. 2, 1950, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of Victor C. Bowers of Delaware and the late Arveda Nesmith Davis, and stepson of the late Kenneth Davis.
He attended Musselman High School in Inwood.
He retired from Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, where he served as a security coordinator.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Izaak Walton League of Leetown, W.Va.
He was a weapons safety instructor, holding classes at Summit Point Raceway for private citizens, Department of Defense personnel and other government departments.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Charlotte Spitzer Bowers; one son, Michael Bowers of Inwood; two sisters, Sharon McEwan and Patricia B. Bell, both of Cheyenne, Wyo.; one stepbrother, Richard Bowers of Upper Marlboro, Md.; aunts; uncles; and 19 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Bowers.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel in Inwood. Pastor Nancy Tabb and Phillip Spitzer will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Mary L. Webster, 72, of Charles Town, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at her home.
Born March 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hettie Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jewell Webster.
She is survived by a friend with whom she lived, Ronald Goins; four children, Allen Webster of Martinsburg, W.Va., Mary Lou Webster of Charles Town, and Cathy Marrone and Janie Webster, both of Summit Point, W.Va.; four sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, five brothers and one great-grandson.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Harvest Point Church of Charles Town. Pastor Jason Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.

SHARPSBURG, Md. - Helen Loretta Avey Nelson Gay, 84, of Sharpsburg, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Sharpsburg.
Born Jan. 25, 1924, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Leroy W. and Cora M. Kruger Avey.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Nelson, in 1981, and her second husband, Milton E. Gay, in 2002.
She was formerly employed by Victor Hosiery in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Dargan Mennonite Church and attended Mt. Briar Church of God.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Bowers of Samples Manor and Sandy Gossard of Sharpsburg; two sons, Robert Nelson of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and John Nelson of Sharpsburg; two sisters, Jean Whetzel of Breathedsville and Hilda Davis of Westminster, Md.; and one brother, Paul Avey of Westminster.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jim Nelson, and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro with graveside services immediately following at Mt. Zion Cemetery at San Mar. The Rev. Roger I. Martin will officiate.
