C&R Liquors license transfer approved

The Washington County liquor board on Wednesday granted a liquor license transfer to C&R Liquors at 1304 Dual Highway.

C&R owner Nancy Cody told the Board of License Commissioners for Washington County, known as the liquor board, that she planned to sell the business to John Temple of Falling Waters, W.Va., and needed to transfer the license to his name.

Cody agreed to remain on the license as the resident agent because Temple lives in West Virginia.
