Washington County Commission on Aging will sponsor the AARP Driver Safety Program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, and Thursday, Sept. 18, at Washington County Commission on Aging, 140 W. Franklin St., fourth floor, Hagerstown; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway, 11114 Lincoln Ave., Halfway.
The cost of the class is $10 per person and checks should be made payable to AARP. If class is canceled, enrollees are notified and registration fees returned or held for the next scheduled class. AARP's Driver Safety Program is approved in every state, and automobile insurance companies in some states provide premium reductions to those who have taken the class. Classes are open to drivers of all ages.
