Hubs fall in overtime to Allegany

CUMBERLAND, Md. -- John Carpenter's 27-yard field goal in overtime capped Allegany's 16-13 comeback victory against North Hagerstown on Friday night.

The Campers (2-0) tied the game at 13 in the third quarter on a 1-yard TD run by J.D. Hook. Dustin Wharton added 113 yards on the ground in the win.

DeShawn Goodwin scored both of North's touchdowns, the first on a 38-yard run in the first quarter and the next on a 28-yard reception from Lynn Lowman in the second quarter to give the Hubs a 13-6 lead. Goodwin finished with seven rushes for 56 yards, while Jordan Ricketts had another 55 yards rushing for the Hubs (0-2).
